Maïté Relecom, née Bordot-Lacroix, married Michel Relecom in 1978. After his death, at the end of 1994 she took over the reins at Unibra.

Drawing on the many valuable lessons she learned from her husband, and supported by staff who guided her through the company's development, she took over Unibra’s presidency.

In 2022, she stepped down as president to become vice-president.
