UNIBRA MAKES LUXURY THE NORM

Property investor and developer Unibra Real Estate is mainly active in high-end projects at prime locations in Belgium and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. For example, it is currently working on the Victor Hugo project in one of the most sought-after spots in Luxembourg City. Unibra is known for the refined finish, quality architecture and luxury interiors of its projects. Optimised use of space, in response to the location, is also characteristic of its approach.

In order to give potential customers an advance insight into the finishing options, Unibra recently fitted out a showcase apartment where individual wishes can be discussed and meetings with project leaders and sales managers can take place.

The apartment is located in ‘Lindepark’, one of its own completed projects next to the park in Tervuren, with a superb view of the ponds there. The atmosphere is typical of what customers can expect. High ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows ensure plentiful natural light and a relaxing sense of space.

Floors in Calacatta gold marble with gold veins have been combined with wide, solid planks of premium-grade oak, finished with a layer of varnish for easier maintenance. In the reception area, an entire wall has been finished in Calacatta gold. The veining of the marble is picked up throughout the apartment by numerous bronze and gold features including bronze handles and wall fixtures.

In the kitchen, the island is made of solid fior di bosco marble, as is the splash wall. The kitchen units are a floor-to-ceiling design finished in dark swamp oak veneer. Again, there are numerous bronze details, including a bronze étagère shelving unit, a line of bronze set into the wood and bronze light fittings. In the bathroom too, special high-quality materials have been used, including a marble floor and shower wall.

Nothing has been left to chance with the lighting, either. In line with the latest Italian trend, the Delta Light recessed spotlights have not been installed in the middle of the ceiling, but closer to the windows and cabinets. Finally, the spacious covered terrace is made of tropical ipé hardwood. Above the table hangs a unique pendant with three functions: heating, lighting and music.
