Dream big & live it
Last week, Giselle Duran and Julie Goffard represented Unibra Real Estate at MIPIM in Cannes, the leading international event for the real estate industry.
In an uncertain geopolitical context, the 2026 edition took place in an atmosphere that was both cautious and dynamic. While attendance seemed slightly lower than in some previous years, the discussions were particularly rich and high-quality.
MIPIM remains, above all, a unique opportunity to meet international stakeholders, strengthen existing relationships, and create new opportunities.
Several key trends emerged from the discussions and conferences:
· Residential real estate, and in particular affordable housing, is becoming a central topic in many European countries.
· Sustainability continues to guide investment and development strategies, with increasing focus on renovation and the decarbonization of existing buildings.
· Artificial intelligence is gradually entering the real estate sector, particularly for data analysis, building management, and project optimization.
For Unibra Real Estate, these international meetings are essential to stay attuned to market developments and to shape our vision for real estate development in Belgium and Luxembourg.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to connect with us in Cannes. We already look forward to continuing these discussions.
